Our goal is to serve our diverse groups of elderly and disabled American people by providing useful AHA Independent Living Products and Olmstead Approved Products so that they allow persons to live with dignity where they choose, in a community-based setting. Thereby allowing these groups of  American citizens to continue to live fruitful lives. We work with President Bush, his administration, and leaders in the community to develop policies that will enhance the quality of life.

To insure our consumers are purchasing the best products for living independently, Able Home Aides has developed a plan together with the CONGRESS OF DISABLED PERSONS AGAINST EXPLOITATION
to test and certify products and services. After products are tested by disabled consumers, they will be certified as  Olmstead Approved Products and Services (OAP) . Once approved, CODPAE will advocate that insurance agencies, government and private agencies, and rehabilitation centers to purchase these high quality products and services. Partnerships are being developed with such departments as the  U.S. Department of Human Services and  the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs along with its Independent Living Program to provide quality products.

Universal Consultants, Inc., and its division Able Home Aides are proud to work with the President, government private agencies, and consumers to develop the President's Executive Order   into one of the most important undertakings yet. 
 

 Universal Consultants, Inc., and its division Able Home Aides , is  committed to work with employers through its consulting services on ways to allow disabled persons to be employed. Its founder , who is severely disabled and has over 30 years of government service, will use his expertise to help other disabled persons perform their work better by using access aides.

We support the integration of Americans with disabilities into the workforce through swift implementation of the Ticket to Work and Work Incentives Improvement Act of 1999 (TWWIIA). Thus becoming useful members of society. We will work hard to bring the President's New Freedom Initiative. Especially the statement, "President George W. Bush believes that the Americans with Disabilities Act has been an integral component of the movement toward full integration of individuals with disabilities but recognizes that there is still much more to be done. He also recognizes that to further integrate individuals with disabilities into the workforce, more needs to be done to promote ADA compliance." 

 Able Home Aides is a proud member of Accessible Housing Association of North America. As a member, we advocate for affordable accessible housing and universal design. We work closely with Mayor Daley of Chicago, IL and his Office of Persons with Disabilities to build affordable housing with  Universal Design . We work with builders and real state agencies to educate them on Olmstead Approved Products.

This focus group will be given an opportunity to respond to and build upon the New Freedom Initiative. The first task of this FOCUS GROUP will have is to work with the Chicago Department of Human Services, the Mayors Offices of People with Disabilities, and state departments to develop an Olmatead Program for the City of Chicago. Thereby brining this bold initiative  to fulfillment in at least one city in Illinois.  The is a program developed by the CONGRESS OF DISABLED PERSONS AGAINST EXPLOITATION and Able Home Aides has formed a partnership to train and certify Personal Assistants. These Olmstead  Personal Assistants Freedom Fighters will receive training on the types of disabilities and how to empower them to take charge of their lives. They also will be trained to seek out the disabled and the elderly who reside in nursing homes, and move the qualified persons into their own home. They will have the knowledge of what kind of Olmstead Approved Products will help them live more independently.
